Albedo

The fraction of incident sunlight a surface reflects.

Libration

The slow rocking that reveals more than half the Moon's surface over time.

Syzygy

A straight-line alignment of three bodies, most often Sun, Earth and Moon.

Terminator

The moving line dividing the lit and unlit hemispheres of a body.
